| I recently acquired a 2006 Honda Silverwing with a Corbin seat on it. The seat shock is missing. The factory shock does not work on the Corbin.
Does anyone who has a Corbin seat on their bike know the shock model number? They are usually printed on the side of the shock. I sent an email to Corbin last week and they don't seem to care to answer emails.
I would appreciate any help on this matter. Thanks.

| If you can get the dimensions of the strut you can check on eBay for a replacement from China. I got one to replace my stock strut for 1/3 the price of the Honda strut. |

That is an excellent suggestion. I got one like that for my cargo trailer but I had the original one. I don't have one to work with on this. I would need some numbers or measurements from an existing one to ensure I ordered the right size. |

| Have you contacted Corbin. The install direction says the seat comes with a new seat shock/prop rod. |

| After doing some detective work, I found a retailer for Corbin seat struts:
McMaster-Carr (562)692-5911
p/n SWY8S8100159S8D (taken off my Corbin's strut)
I got a callback from the U.S. wholesaler who gave me the info. |

If there is a customer service number, it is a pretty guarded secret. They don't respond to emails. I was trying for awhile. |

I got a callback from the U.S. wholesaler who gave me the info. THANK YOU. This is exactly what I needed. I am going to chase one down now. |
