| hello again. Theres a picture of a beautiful red s/w with a pair of side rack cases on this site. Ive searched and come to a dead end. Is there a specific rack for a pair of cases ( preferably givi 21 l monokey ) ? Im not very handy with making up my own- envy those who do- so it would have to be just a very basic install. Even a pictorial on any install. Just a rookie- realize the question has been asked before- doesnt seem to be any follow-thru to see if id be capable doing myself ( really hoping that there is a specific rack and im just not finding it ) |

| The photo is Randybuck's Silverwing. You can navigate to Randybuck's photos in the Album section. He hasn't posted here in quite some time but here is a link to the Topics he's posted in: https://www.silverwing600.com/spa/randybuckI'm sure that you can find all the info regarding those Givi side cases and his custom mount brackets that any of us know about by using these resources. | Now that SilverWing is discontinued model in US----finding maker for brackets may be hard.
Try Fehling in Germany or Hepco & Becker, too.
My question is what bags do to SilverWing handling?? Overload?
If more carrying capacity is required how about Rubber throw over bags from Aerostich? Problem with throw over, unless tied down at bottom, they flap like elephant ears in a breeze.
Waterproof is the thing. |

My question is what bags do to SilverWing handling?? Overload? Fehling do make Givi/Kappa side rails for the Silver Wing but it's the SWT-400 and SWT-600 versions, they may or may not fit the FSC/FJS versions. Hepco & Becker only make a tubular rear rack for the Silver Wing. I'd say bags hard or soft won't make any difference to the Silver Wings handling, unless you'real wanting to carry lumps of pig iron in them. I use soft panniers/bags when Mrs M tours with me, the only noticeable difference is a few extra pounds of added weight when pulling the scooter onto the the main stand. I had two loaded soft panniers inside a big Ortlieb bag on the rear seat on the ride home from Germany last month instead of mounting a pannier either side, again just more weight to haul onto stand. |

Hi gustafa, the link you posted doesn't show the rack. Do you know of another rack? |

I used to be able to find who the manufacturer was, but cant find them anymore. I dont think they make them anymore, may have to Google far and wide, wish I could help. |
