As far as I know there is NO 2015 Silverwing and there has not been a new model since 2013. What the future holds? Who knows?

What new Silver Wing model came out in 2013? The SW-T variants have been around since 2010 in Mainland Europe, and the original FJS (FSC in US) is still in the Honda UK scooter line up for 2015.

My 10 plate Silver Wing is an A7 too. How are you getting on mate, still a bit sore and achey from your mishap? pale Or are you or your shed or garage getting on with repairs. Smile

Well, Would you believe it Meldrew, after my little tumble and breaking my wrist,on December 3rd. By 31/12 2014 i felt up to a little run out on my Burgman 400. Coming back from a fifty mile run and happy enough, the traffic i was following suddenly stopped in the middle of a de-ristricted stretch of road. My brakes locked up and off i came AGAIN. This time no one else was involved. A couple of Horse riders were in the road ,so everyone stopped for them!. To qoute your namesake " I could not believe it". Slight damage to my windscreen, more to my pride. No accidents in fifty four years, and then two in the same month. I have fixed my Burgman but, have to order the Front panel and Mudguard for the wing. No change out of £600. Otherwise I'm not too bad. Embarassed

You'd be surprised Hotwings my little Burgman is a real pleasure to ride, and has been invaluable whilst my Silverwing is off the road. Smile

Sorry to hear of your spill. It's happened to me in Dec as well. I'm assuming your AN400 doesn't have ABS.
That's one of my must haves in my next bike and contributes to my interest in the SW. I'm also looking at the Burgman.
Cheers,

The spill on the Burgman was my fault. I don't ride it more than twice a week, and when i was looking it over (after the spill) i noticed the rear tyre tread was very poor and i should have put a new tyre on. It is fifteen years old now so, no ABS. My Silverwing is back on the road now. I don't seem to be able to download pictures on this Forum, don't know why. I think it may be of interest as it may be the only Black Silverwing with a silver front mudguard, i think it looks very stylish.Smile

I have ABS on both of my current bikes. I wasn't convinced until I bought a used '01 Goldwing 1800 with ABS. Had to make a quick stop on a gravel/dirt road due to a deer. Even on a slight downslope and some loose gravel the bike was steerable while I had the brakes full on. Where the ABS shines is keeping the front wheel from locking. Without the ABS I'm sure I'd have gone down. Sometimes you don't have a chance to 'be the expert rider who doesn't need ABS' when a deer pops out suddenly.
I've had a chance to try it out on my K1100LT on a wet road once as well and really don't think I'd buy a bike without it.
