| Part 1) If there were no Honda Silverwing, nor anything similar in the Honda stable, what would you ride?
Part 2) God forbid that no one had invented a maxi scooter, what would you ride? |

| Good question...I almost bought a Whizzer prior to buying the Swing but would have still bought the Swing anyway. Boy that is a tough one to answer. I would like to try another Triumph, the newer version of the Bonneville to get back to simplicity once again, also like the old ST1100's, and I would be inclined to go back to a Pacific Coast. Any of the inline 4's of the late 70's and early 80's. I'm sure there are many others in my mind including the Burgman 650. Good luck with this thread.....Dick |

| No fair dickie mentioned all may favorites including the whizzer!
If (god forbid) there were no Silverwing, I would be tempted to go with the T-Max. I was able to sit on one at the NY show and it fit me very well.
Going backwards in time there are many great legendary bikes and it would be a tough decision. Most likely the ST1100 or the PC800. |

| The reason I have a maxi scooter is that I hate shifting and wanted to keep up with my friends in group rides. If their were no Swing, I'd be on a Burger. If there were no maxis I guess I'd have to buy a Ridley. |

| 1) Burger 650 2) Always fancied a GPZ900 since back in the day they were the 'revolutionary' step into the Supabike era and I always wondered what was so great about them. Obviously not a tourer or commuter, but I suspect a great 'thrill' machine! |

| I'd still be riding my Super Glide but drooling over the thoughts of an ST 1300. |

| This is an easy one for me...Without my S'wing, then my bike, the Yam Diversion 900... Though I guess I wouldn't be using it as much in the winter..... If I was gonna have a scoot then maybe a Burgie 650, or Gilera GP800..... However, for the moment I intend to keep the S'wing for a long while, and save up to get a more powerful bike, and top of the list is a Fazer 1000.... Am gonna test ride one tomorrow hopefully, the FZ1, Fuel injected version. Its gonna be interesting to see what its like compared to the carb version... |

| Whoa! Perish the thought of no Silverwing, but, if the Swing had not been available when I was deciding what to ride, then I would have probably ended up on a 650 Burgman. If I was making my decision today, I would have to take a serious look at the TMAX too. If there were no maxi scooters, then I would probably have ended up on either a dual sport (VStrom) or a sport touring bike like the ST 1300 or the FJR 1300. I like the Concourse 1400 too, but I hear that the extra 100 cc's cost you at the gas pump. |

| 1) I would go for the T-MAX. 2) I wish I had kept my 750 Trimuph Trident from the 70's. :union jack: God, I loved that bike. Jerry |

| 1) BMW F650GS and there's one in my garage. 2) a Honda PC800, SEVERELY lowered (I'm 5' 4"), or maybe a Kawasaki ZZR600, say 2004 vintage (that was one of the years that's low enough for me to ride without dogbones). |
