Hello from Coventry UK

Hello, I've just placed my deposit on a new black SW and agreed to trade in my Harley. It all happens in about 3 weeks. This is a huge change in biking direction for me . Has anyone else made the same sort of change to a big scooter? I'm from Coventry in the UK.

Well, my previous comments sure opened up a can of worms...!!

Personally I enjoy riding both my scooter & bike in equal measure - I own/ride them for different reasons and am just as happy on one as the other.

As for posing astride a bucket load of chrome on two wheels - well of course not all riders do this but actually on a sunny day I think it's great fun pulling on my leather chaps & vest (complete with badges/patches) together with my open face helmet & shades then heading off out somewhere....

Anyway, I for one, happen to like The Village People - altogether now: "Y..M..C..A, it's fun to stay at the....."

Word of warning to the newbies.......
When travelling slowly or manouvering the Swing don't, and I really mean don't, ever use the "clutch".
The tupperware will suffer as you probably won't get your feet down in time.

KurtPerthWA, My mate with a Tmax let me have a go and I did that clutch thing approaching a roundabout at speed and nearly shot off the seat as I wasn't expecting the bike to brake. I was lucky I didn't drop it.

I know you all must get sick of hearing this but I just love this bike. I've now ordered the Givi screen.
