Firing order? Empty
PostSubject: Firing order?   Firing order? I_icon_minitimeSun Jun 23, 2024 10:58 am

So I was wondering for the sake of learning something new; Since both Swing 600 pistons go up and down at the same time do they both fire there fuel charge also at the same time? I kinda doubt it but it did strike me curious how both pistons travel up and down at exactly the same time? Thoughts appreciated. Thanks.

The twin cylinder configuration on the SW600 is a 360-degree crankshaft, were both pistons travel together, it uses a "Wasted Spark Ignition System", like many other bikes with paired piston positions, were a single coil fires 2 spark plugs, when paired pistons are near TDC, one piston is in compression/power and the other is exhaust/intake (Wasted Spark).
