Silverwing X-Ray

For those of you who don't know what your SW looks like through an X-Ray machine:



The owner is planning on fabricating a whole new body for it but is riding it in the meantime

Wow! That is interesting. Looks like the old Honda Ruckus. Prime time to do all the maintenance before the body panels go back on.

Ha - yea...that is my x-ray wing.  It was a little breezy for me...so I added this "windshield".



Also - needed a luggage option while I sort out the exterior.

Thanks for letting us use your pic. Out of interest, is this just a cosmetic job or have you done anything to engine and/or drive train?

Nothing yet...I just ordered a belt, 26g sliders, new tires, oil/filter. It has 36k on it and the tires are not well. I think I will do this work - and then see about working towards getting this to my final goal.

After that - I think we can discuss ridiculous mods. LOL

I will say - this bile runs incredible as it sits. But I have never rode a stock silverwing either.

Your attraction to the SW for this purpose is interesting. Take care when discussing ridiculous mods with the forum members You won't have any time left to actually complete the project.
