The MMG powersports battery with the " press to see charge level " button showed full charge when it arrived, regardless I put it on the Battery Tender, about a hour latter it was on green so if you buy one charge it first. The fact it needed charged ties in with their instructions of transporting a battery at the 70% level. The other interesting thing was the list of 20 do not do this instructions a bit like Preparation H warning of do not ingest

When I first got mine I also put it on the charger to bring it up to full charge. Haven't had a problem with it in the two years I've been using it. I put it on about every other month while in the garage for winter also.

Just for giggles I put the charger back on this am, under a minuet it went to flashing green in under 5 min. solid green. I'll install it today and put a pig tail on it in case I want to recharge before I ride. Weather being as it's been 60's one day snow the next you must be ready to go when you can.
