Does anyone know if the covers are interchangeable; for example Silverwing and Goldwing?

I believe they are, because my dealership used to show me a cover designed for the goldwing that had 3 switches on it (from kuryakyn I think)
He said it would fit my Silverwing.
Unscrew your cover and walk into a dealership and go over to the goldwing and compare dimensions.

Thanks, Dan. Smile

How did you know it's the cover with the switches I'm interested in? Shocked

Its a 3 switch panel, waterproof, and can be connected to any additional devices you like, such as auxilliary lighting, for instance. This one is from Kuryakyn

Available anyplace that sells Kuryakyn.

Here is another style:

I wouldn't use those switches for my nitrous.
Too far away from the grip.
I'd add a button on the blank area on the right side,
equal to where the horn is on the left handlebar.
This way I don't lose my grip when I hit the button.

Use a supercharger, then you won't need the nitrous. Well, better yet, use both!

Don't tempt me.

I've been offered a turbocharger, and I know someone who did attach nitrous.
Nitrous didn't get him any higher top speed. But he got to the top much faster.
Already put in the Power commander/exhaust/variator/plugs/airfilter upgrades.

Its fast enough as it is without spending thousands more on a turbo.

I just went out to the garage and swapped the caps so I can tell you for sure the 2004 Silverwing reservoir caps will fit on my 1993 GL1500 Goldwing and vice versa. Both sides will interchange. The GL1500 caps are all the same from 1988-2000.
