| That's not a bad price so long they did a good job.
You know it's aways a good idea to keep the speed down for the first 100 miles when you get a new tire installed.
Let use know if your new tire works OK. |

If they added a lot of lead weights, insure the yellow/white dot on the side wall is at the stem. I've never had a tire mounted correctly with more than one or two small weights. |

| I just brought my front and rear rims and old tires in for the local Honda shop to replace them with new tires. They charged me $24 per tire to mount and balance them.
I read that the reason you are suppose to take it easy on turns and breaking for the first 100 miles. It said the tires are coated with a mold release to make it easy to come out of the mold. Also your going from a old worn out tire with low tread to a new tire with full tread and it may take a while to get used to the full tread. Until that release is worn off you should ride a little Conservative.

| I went through 10 miles of gravel today, maybe that would help take the coating off. |

If the tires or the road are wet ... and you push the tire too hard you will quickly know._________________ Bill - Georgetown TX 07 Silver Wing ABS Clearview w/vent, Givi E96/TB19/E52 with Admore Lighting, Alaskan Leather, Wrist Rests, 3M Solas tape, K&N air, Hyperpro spring, Grip Puppies, Airhawk, Utopia backrest, Stebel, Apexcone HIDs, StingerZ LEDs (w/Backoff WigWag), Knight Rider Sequential LED, NGK Iridium, Power Commander III, Manic Salamander, Saeng mirrors, Garmin Zumo 660, Dark-Side Sumitomo Tire |
