That's not a bad price so long they did a good job.

You know it's aways a good idea to keep the speed down for the first 100 miles when you get a new tire installed.

Let use know if your new tire works OK.

Just keep it under 60 MPH for the first 100 miles.

If they added a lot of lead weights, insure the yellow/white dot on the side wall is at the stem. I've never had a tire mounted correctly with more than one or two small weights.

I just brought my front and rear rims and old tires in for the local Honda shop to replace them with new tires. They charged me $24 per tire to mount and balance them.

I read that the reason you are suppose to take it easy on turns and breaking for the first 100 miles. It said the tires are
coated with a mold release to make it easy to come out of the mold. Also your going from a old worn out tire with low tread to a new tire with full tread and it may take a while to get used to the full tread. Until that release is worn off you should ride a little Conservative.

I went through 10 miles of gravel today, maybe that would help take the coating off.

If the tires or the road are wet ... and you push the tire too hard you will quickly know.
