PostSubject: Just passed 25,000 miles   Sat Aug 08, 2009 11:55 am

Well, I just passed 25,000 miles yesterday on the way home from work. I bought my SWing on March 17, 2007 and went over 25,000 on August 7th, 2009. I thought I would have passed this mark a few months sooner but wasn't able to ride much this winter. I have the say that the SWing is smooth as ever, smoother really with the PC and sliders, and I still get the grin when riding.

I have had no issues with the SWing at all. It starts every time and has not given me an problems at all. It has been totally bullet-proof so far. This is by far the most enjoyable bike I have ever owned and the most comfortable too. I do have to say that the biggest bike I've ever owned was the 1987 883 Sportster. They aren't big bikes but I really did like the 883 engine. It was the Evolution engine so it didn't leak oil and ran great the 4 years I had it. The only problem was that the frame was just too small for me. I needed more leg room But I really like the SWing and since I do all the maintenance, and I probably do it before I really need to, I expect this bike to last much longer.

Hmm, Jeff, your signature says that you have 24,500 ml. Are you trying to foul us? Laughing
Seriously, good for you, you should figure out how much money you've saved by not commuting in your car.
Miro.

If I ever get mine out of the shop, been in there a month now waiting on Honda to ship a rear wheel (recall on 2002 model). I guess it threw them for a loop coming in 7 years later for the recall.

I, did however, just turn 35,000 today, on my 2001 Honda Reflex. Who else could make a 249cc motor that with 35,000 miles still doesn't leak or use a drop of oil, and runs as smooth as mile 1 did!

Gotta love Honda
