Hi, I just bought my first bike yesterday. It is a 2005 Silverwing and is in perfect condition. My husband who rides a ST1100 has been giving me riding lessons. This is going to be great fun!

Welcome from another newbie on this forum. I think you're going to enjoy that Silverwing a lot. My Goldwing is getting jealous of my SW because I'm riding it so much. There's nothing near as handy as the SW for running around town and doing errands.

Hi Shannon,

Welcome aboard the forum. The Silverwing is a great scooter. I really enjoy mine. Post some pictures of your new scooter when you get a chance.

Hi Shannon,
I lived in Tucson for 20 years and loved it, i now live in Prescott AZ and enjoy riding my Swing on the roads in the high country. My Harley is so jealous of my Swing because i ride it much more then Harley. Welcome to a great site and the Swing community.

Hi Shannon.

I just started riding last year. I love my swing. Think about taking a class, in addition to the lessons from your husband. I did, and I think it made a really big difference in my general riding ability.

You will just love this bike. I'm enjoying mine so much. And yes taking the safety classes is a must. Just helps to fine tune your riding and may save your life. Enjoy!!

Shannon,

Welcome to the site and hope you enjoy your SWing. I have had mine since March '07 and will go over 25,000 miles this week and this love this thing. You shouldn't have any trouble keeping up with your husband either.
