Been looking for a Silver Wing for a while and finally found one I could afford. It's a 2005 with only 6700 miles on it. Got it below KBB. Yea. Anything I need to do to it other than a complete fluid change and regular maintenance items. Been looking on this forum and the web and found this year to be pretty hassle free. Hopefully I've been looking in all the right places. Anyway it's black and silver with a drivers back rest and passenger backrest as well. One thing I know I need is the front light bracket that Dennis makes. Already email him and hopefully is still makes them. Will post a picture of the Silver wing when I can. Later, Brett

Welcome to the forum... and DuggleBogey is right; you're gonna' love it. I got my '05 back in June of '08 with 2000 miles on it. Hasn't given me a lick of trouble. Haven't done, nor 'had' to do, any heavy maintenance on it other than fluids and filters and what few gimracks I've added. Anyway, welcome once again... you'll enjoy this site like no other!

I have a black/silver 05 swing like yours that i got last May. Rode it 3000 trouble free klm last year. I've added a few gizmos to it: led underseat bulb, bestem 2012 topbox, led license place bolt lights, led light strips on the bestem box, interior light in the bestem box, wigwag brake light kit, exterior thermometer, iphone mount/power, glovebox light, carbon fiber wrap on most things shiny, cruise control. It came with the givi windshield so i dont know what the stock one rode like.

You'll love the Silverwing, if it has the stock screen on then I suggest getting a Givi Airflow AF214 - far better.
