| I've been trying different mirrors to get away from having 1/2 my mirror showing elbow and sleeve rather than what is behind me. I had some from a dirt bike that worked OK but were kind of clunky looking and hit the windshield at full lock. I bought some cheap $20 each ones that gave me a good view but tended to blur from vibration. I brought my new 2012 home tonight and started to put the cheapies on when I saw the stock Suzuki S40 mirrors I removed when I went with bar ends. Perfect. The stem shape is very similar and they are about 3" longer/wider than the SWing mirrors. No blur/buzz and good visibility plus I kind of like the touch of chrome.   |

| Simple and cheap fix----early CB750 mirrors---probably used on other Hondas----In US, Dennis Kirk has them-----worked for me when winter riding gear makes me wider. |

| I have the same extenders , they do the job well but I've managed without the threadlock so far. |

| I've also heard that Burgman 400 mirrors will work.
If you can find the Savage/S40 ones they are very solid with a second locking nut where the stem grabs the mirror. Makes sense when you consider they are for a 650cc single. |

| Fitted the Burgman 400 mirrors onto the Silverwing - work a treat.
Funny thing is - I took them off the Burgman as the chrome looked a bit 'naff' and fitted black ones. They look okay on the silver Silverwing.
Oh for you Yanks - 'naff' = 'crap'
