Hi everyone, My name is Bruce. I live in Lebanon, Maine and I have just purchesd my first bike it is a GL500. I took it down the road for a little while yesterday (yes in 30 degree weather) and it felt real good to ride a bike again. I saw online some pictures of some with the fairing on them however i cant find one anywhere online does anybody have an idea of where i can find one at?

I can understand how you found us as we too ride silverwings. This site is dedicated to the FSC600 maxi scooter! You live in a great location and will have some great roads to ride! I live in central new england and ride up north most weekends hopefully we get to meet sometime. Although you many not find answers to your questions about the gl500, this group of folks are the best! Good luck with your new ride and of course always ride safe!

Well this is a Silverwing forum and the GL was branded a Silverwing,

But this forum specializes the the 600cc SCOOTER first put out in 2001.

You are our first GL Silverwing member!

I think you should look for a GL500 or GL650 forum to get the info you want.

Welcome to the forum - enjoy the ride.

Don't run off, there are many folks here who may have questions about the GL500. Nice bike, I always wanted one back in the day when they were new. If the price were right I might still bite.
