Hi Meleddleman.
I was just in Pensacola this last Saturday. Nice place.

If the FI light is on, you need to extract the codes using the service manual.
If you don't have a service manual, you'll need professional help.diagnostic
Regarding the belt, if the light is on it means it's likely time to service (inspect) the belt. Using a micrometer, you can measure its wear and compare that to the service limits of the belt. If you don't have a micrometer or service manual, just replace the belt. If you have recently replaced the belt, then inspection of the variator may be needed as well.
