I have money for you. Got your attention yet?
Today I traced a pattern of the leg deflectors that I have, made out of a hard rubber that I bought from Three Brothers years ago on E bay, that are no longer available and work great.
I also took the thickness and measured the two screws that should be included along with the brackets. Personally I would have made the brackets a bit thinner.
I took a picture but as of yet not downloaded.
As I understand, there is a great need for these things here in the U.S.
I believe with a die, these could be knocked out at about $ 3.00 a piece. I believe I paid $ 75.00 for them.
You can see what they look like on my personal album under lights # 1 and #3
Any one interested in making me an offer? affraid

John, I'm using Ron Nelson's version and they work well for me, but yours sound good. I have several friends that ride SW's and know that at least two are looking for leg shields and want something that fits well. If you could, post some pics of the installation, particularly how the rubber footmat (whatever its called) fits after the shield has been installed and I'll make sure they see them.

Just a personal preference, but I wouldn't want mine to curve under at the lower end out of concern that when coming to a stop my foot might snag on it and cause a tumble. You know, us old folks have to be more careful than the youngsters.....youngsters defined as anyone under 60! Smile

Actually he brought them back about a month ago right after the ones from reflexscooter started selling well. I purchased the reflexscooter guy's (Nelson's) leg and hand ones together for $29, while 3 Brothers' wider, thicker ones cost $50 more. He later lowered his price but if you look at their feedback there are no entries from satisfied customers for leg guards. I'm guessing he didn't sell a single pair, being undercut by Nelson. BTW here's the old listing: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Honda-Silverwing-Silver-Wing-Reflex-Helix-LEG-windsheild-wind-sheild-/200670629056?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item2eb8e6ccc0#ht_2415wt_881
