| I have to say they are great ive had lots of different styles,(enduro, cruiser, sports, naked etc)cant really fault the wing so far ,try and get test rides on the bikes or scoots you want then you can find what best suits you.I went out on a limb with the wing because of leg probs(no pun intended) I only had 2 minutes on one but must say im really enjoying it :D

and that's exactly why i haven't been considering one up to now. that 500 plus pound weight is giving me pause because of a weak left side one.
what brought me here was a review that popped up on another forum. the author is a woman and opinions (based upon a trip to vegas and back to LA) led me to believe that maybe - just maybe - i can handle a Swing.
i've also looked at the majesty and burgman and their ~450 pounds are very appealing. my current bike (aprilia sportcity 250) is ~350.
i had a reflex which tipped in at ~400 and i could handle it pretty well - right up to the time some turkey ran a stop sign in front of me. the reflex went to a better place. i went to the emergency room.
thanks for your thoughts, john. |

| Your welcome ,I dont know if youve ridden a wing but it carries its weight very low and the seat is quite low so can get feet down (not that i know how tall you are im six two so no probs there)and just in case you didnt know (i didnt till i found it)they have hand brakes so handy on hills dont need to hold on front brake or leg power like bikes.. john |

| John, Welcome to the site. I think that the very low CG of the SilverWing makes it feel much lighter than it is. Of course that low CG is of no value when putting the bike on the center stand or picking it up after a drop. My wife has no difficulty moving hers around. I would not put her in the muscle bound group. |

| Thats true about the stand as it is for most bikes/scoots i found when i ran bike shop that more people than you would know had probs with center stands, I find that if you face towards the back left hand on bars right hand on grab rail and then push stand till it rests on the floor, then use body weight to push down and pull back rather than just trying to lift facing fowards john |
