PostSubject: Got my new Silverwing   Thu Nov 10, 2011 9:42 am

Hi all, I've had my Silverwing about three weeks now and I have to say I'm very pleased with it.
So far I've done about 1,200 miles and it's settling in nicely.
I got the Honda heated grips and top box when I bought it and I've since fitted the Laminar Lip and Ears which really do seem to work compared with the standard screen on its own.

I did a 260 mile round trip to visit my son and coming home late at night in the damp and slight fog I was particularly pleased with the secure feeling and the comfort.

I'll be using it for camping trips and days out and I think it will prove ideal. Shame it's November as I'm itching to load up and go on a trip now - ah well, have to make do with days out until the spring.

Sorry about the grainy photo.

S'nice, that is.
I've got the Honda topbox on mine - well impressed with the capacity. Just waiting for a lighting kit for it from Admore, to finish things off.

Thanks Winger61,
Would that be the Admore kit that is made specially for the Honda top box? I find that very interesting. Could you let us know how well it all fits etc. when you get it please as I do a lot of night riding and that looks just the ticket albeit a bit pricey.
