I have tried some top name waxes. I have been a little timid with polish worried I will go right thru the paint . Especially the top of the back which seems to be a differant plastic from the front which shines up easily. whats the best product? study

I use MER - not sure if it's available over there.
It really does do what it says.

i use regular turtle wax or kit wax but i did go over mine with a clay bar too. i wasnt totaly sure about using a swril remover since i didnt know like you said about going thru the paint. i like a plain carnuba wax cause i plan to keep my bike waxed often, but i have seen people use synthetic waxes as well that look good. you could find a local detail shop and get them to let you try different types of wax to see what you prefer.
