| Hello,
I am just trying to see if anyone can direct me to an online order site for the J. Costa so I can make the purchase. Of course, I would like to get it as close to $300.00 as possible or less even if I could find one used with new pins. I'd rather go ahead and give this a try and just keep my Dr Pulley 24g sliders and stock variator as a replacement once I wear the J. Costa out.
Thanks for your help!

| Has anyone heard anything about or tried the http://mrp-speed.com TK variator - it looks just like a j Costa copy

If the price is right I might give this a try and give a full report with measured road tests. |

| I think after a little research I have found that this product is the same as J. Costa. It is also known as TM44 also made by and called Turbo Kit variator by Martin Racing. I thought it looked identical! I just need to know where to get the J. Costa that will actually ship to the US for as cheap as possible. |

MRP used to be a Dr Pulley US vendor ... till they started selling look alike sliders.
According to Dr Pulley they tested the MRP sliders and found them to be inferior and would wear very quickly.
MRP was stripped of their Dr Pulley US vendor.
This sounds very similar._________________ Bill - Georgetown TX 07 Silver Wing ABS Clearview w/vent, Givi E96/TB19/E52 with Admore Lighting, Alaskan Leather, Wrist Rests, 3M Solas tape, K&N air, Hyperpro spring, Grip Puppies, Airhawk, Utopia backrest, Stebel, Apexcone HIDs, StingerZ LEDs (w/Backoff WigWag), Knight Rider Sequential LED, NGK Iridium, Power Commander III, Manic Salamander, Saeng mirrors, Garmin Zumo 660, Dark-Side Sumitomo Tire |

| Just a followup on the J. Costa variator. I pulled mine out today to sell and on close inspection of the parts I could detect very little wear. The parts only had 3k km on them, but I had done lots of high speed riding. The pins had slight wear on the tips, but were within 1/16" of original length. The inner drive face was very smooth with no ridging, just like the Honda outer drive face. There was very little belt dust in the belt case. The solvent used to soak the belt air filter was very black and dirty, and required 2 rinsings, so it obviously does its job well. I'll report on my 28gr Dr. Pulley sliders comparison with the J. Costa shortly in a new topic. Updated, you can read my initial report on the Dr. Pulley 28gr sliders here: http://www.silverwing600.com/t3626-dr-pulley-slider-installation |
