Hi from Winnipeg.

Bought a 2004 Silver Wing from Christiansburg, VA...it has been an interesting journey to get it licensed in Manitoba, but as of last Friday, it is totally legal.

Off to explore the rest of the forum.

Oops, thought you meant the OP.
Of course we can refer to ourselves as Canucks, but you can't. It's similar to African-Americans using the you-know-what word in talking to each other. Or not.

Here in Rison... our NHL is not made up of teams. We do our Night Hunting Ladies as individuals.

Nothing wrong with calling us Canucks. Even Crazy Canucks (like the Podborski era Olympic ski team). cheers

It's when you put the adjectives in front like friggin' etc. ... that's when things get ugly! Mad

Hey, the Red River flows right through Winnipeg.
Of course, most of our American friends only know of one Red River, that of Texas. lol!

They probably don't known there is a Red River of the North, whose headwaters are in Minnesota and its mouth in L. Winnipeg.
They probably don't know there is a Red River whose headwaters are in China and whose mouth is in the Gulf of Tonkin off Vietnam.
There is a lot it seems our American friends don't know.
lol!

Okay...this has got to be the MOST amusing introduction thread I've ever read! Thanks for the initiation.

Thoughts: Really...someone in AZ would be called a Yankee? Wink ; NHL team, newly re-located from Atlanta is causing quite a stir...not with me, mind you, but one cannot help but notice it. ; I did not know there was a Red River in TX... :dunno or China for that matter.

Any hoo..thanks for laying out the welcome mat.

You still haven't answered my PM. Do you want to ride with the local large scooter club (mostly Silverwings) with a couple of Tmax, Burgman, Majesty, and a Piaggio thrown in to make fun of?

PM me for more info.
