| I have a vibration right at the start of acceleration from a stop and it sounds like it is in the dash/windshield. Anyone know what causes this? |

| Hi Claudi, I see that this is your first post on this site. Welcome! I'm not the expert here (there are some really good ones here too) but I believe the vibration you are experiencing is an anomaly of the drive system caused by the belt and variator. Not a major malfunction; just an irritant to some.
I'm sure there'll be some others with the technical explanation but until then, do as "bigbird" suggested and do a site search on clutch/variator/belt/and even 'vibration'. You'll find a host of info on this subject, no doubt. Once again, welcome to the site. |

| I just posted this on another topic in this forum:
I vote with bigbird - the J Costa really smoothed the machine out.
Realizing they are expensive and harder to find, I would suggest using lighter rollers or Dr. Pulley sliders. The stock rollers are too heavy and cause the motor/drive to lug for a bit and cause vibration and rumble. Lighter weights will allow the motor to spool up with less load on it, removing most of the vibration.
