Whilst I love my SW for most outings I'm toying with the idea of also getting a cheap mid range sports bike to scratch an itch I still have.

The Kawasaki GPZ500s ticks quite a lot of boxes for me on paper. It's a cheap second hand buy and seems to get very favourable reviews for both fun and reliability.

I realise it's a bike from a different generation, so won't have all the current biking refinements, but my SW ticks that box.

I was wondering if anyone on here had owned/ridden one and could give me their impressions?

Alternatively is there anything else in that mid range sports bike catagory for circa £2000/US$3000 they could reccomend?

Rode a GPz 750. That was quick and nimble.
Some nice technology like the adjustable levers.
