PostSubject: New Swing owner update   Fri Apr 15, 2011 5:07 am

My new Swing is scheduled for it"s 600 mile checkup today. With 654 miles on her as of last night I am having a ball. Yesterday I went to the East side of Florida and back taking only secondary roads that meander around through small towns and beautiful country. I did 314 miles which is the longest trip I have taken on a scooter so far. The seat must be fitting my butt better as I did not get a case of sore butt like I did before. The Vista cruise I installed works great and gave me some right hand breaks from time to time. The windshield sucks for someone my height. It buffeted my helmet all day long and was annoying. (Air Flow will be next). A GPS would have been handy on this trip with all the small towns and side roads. I just took a look at a map before I left and memorised the route (sort of). I did take a wrong turn and ended up 30 miles South of where I meant to be but with the Swing no problem. Gas mileage for the route was at 52.7 mpg. I love my Swing!
