PostSubject: Hello from New England   Thu Mar 10, 2011 5:57 pm

Hello to everyone on the forum. I'm new to maxi scooters, having owned a 1953 Cushman and many mini bikes. Great nostalgia, not much for riding. I recently aquired an 87 Helix for $500 and a 03 Silverwing for $2000. They were from a very nice widow that wanted them to go to a good home. The Silver has 3500 miles on it. I could not pass up the Helix either. Trying to talk my wife into bonding with it. It may be working. We are from Ct. and am looking forward to snow melting. I have a lot of catching up to do, but am a quick learner. A technician by trade, nothing has been beyond my capacity yet. Besides, I own a welder. The transmissions are familiar to me after owning many snowmobiles in the past. I know there is nothing I can screw up that money won't fix. Hello to all.

Welcome Bones!

I ride the scenic roads of Ct quite often, most of the time in the quiet corner, and to a funky little place called the the bean. I look forward to meeting you soon!

Welcome!
I owned a Helix for a dozen or so years before getting my Swing last summer. You're bound to love both of them. Have Fun
