PostSubject: Poor Mileage using PC   Wed Feb 23, 2011 8:33 am

I have used the European map on my Power Commander and am getting only 37. Going to the stock US map to see if it's any better. Bought the PC to save gas but disappointed so far. 35 mpg is based on in town only riding.

Really?
Most owners get one to improve power, hence the name Power Commander.
You could have saved a lot of money and aggravation by just practising the most basic of fuel economy measures:

Don't twist the throttle so far.

Sorry, but I just had to state the obvious.
Don't forget, you're probably using winter blended ethanol enhanced gas, the ambient temps are lower, and mileage always decreases in the winter season. Wait until some warm weather and measure again. If not, I'm sure someone here would buy your Power Commander if it's not doing what you want it to do.

I concur with this statement. Winter gas is terrible,
