| What happened to the time stamp on the posts listed under the latest topics section to the left of the screen? Mine have disappeared. This is what I use to determine if I have read a post or not since I last logged in (i do it frequently enough to matter here). Did someone turn this feature off, or do we have a problem? |

| I think there may be a slight problem; the name of the poster disappeared for a short time, too. _________________ Mike - Riding on the right - riding for pleasure!

| Gary,
I went in to the "forum support" help desk and they have a few reports about this too. I enabled the "scrolling" which gives the time. So until they come up with a solution on why it isnt' working I will just keep the scrolling feature enabled.
All you have to do to stop the scrolling is position your cursor over the subject of the topic. _________________ Ride safe, JeffR 2007 Silver Wing (30,000 miles) 2005 Majesty 400 (sold 12,500 miles) 2004 Reflex (sold 3,500 miles) Givi Windshield, top case, vista cruise, power commander, dr pulley sliders, air hawk seat pad, (J. | Yeah it sort of reminds me of the prairie dog game where one tries to smack the lil buggers with a hammer when they appear. I get about the same hit rate too.

Short term blip (problem).
Please change it back - dump the scrolling feature.
Use the unread posts feature since last visit to find posts since your last visit. Works great. |

| It works great if you log in and out each time you go to the forum. While at work, I leave it on 'in the background' and check it every once in a while. I simply note the time of the last post of the latest topics, hit the Forum button, which refreshes the screen and adds new posts, then look at the times of the posts to see which ones are new. Works very well. I don't care much for the scrolling either, but to me at least, it's better than no time at all in the recent posts section.
If the majority wants it off, then fine. I suspect others may find the listed times very useful in the same way. |

| Dynamic coding (live) is tricky and leads to a few minor inconveniences, and sometimes discovery of a bug - live. That is what this appeared to be. Most often it is best to just give things time, unless a tourniquet is required, then hurry. |

| Gary, Ask and ye shall receive !!! You could have asked for a brand new SWing but I guess the scrolling was more important. _________________ Ride safe, JeffR 2007 Silver Wing (30,000 miles) 2005 Majesty 400 (sold 12,500 miles) 2004 Reflex (sold 3,500 miles) Givi Windshield, top case, vista cruise, power commander, dr pulley sliders, air hawk seat pad, (J. | Dale, If you go back to my original post, I was simply trying to find out if it was intentional or a bug. Bugs, I understand. However, if it was turned off intentionally, I wanted to voice that this information is useful to some of us. Now... about that new Silverwing... |

| It must have just been a snafu for a day or so. The scrolling was kind of different but it was the only way to get the time included. Out of 859 members only GaryL didn't like but I decided to change it back so it would not scroll since Gary also missed out on the new SWing he could have asked for. _________________ Ride safe, JeffR 2007 Silver Wing (30,000 miles) 2005 Majesty 400 (sold 12,500 miles) 2004 Reflex (sold 3,500 miles) Givi Windshield, top case, vista cruise, power commander, dr pulley sliders, air hawk seat pad, (J.
