Anyone interested in meeting up in Texas in the fall??

Time and place are open for suggestions.

I would be interested. The STO Rally is Sept. 15-18, so I think it would be before or after that. As hot as it is, fall may not start until Christmas, Six o'clock in the morning and eighty five degrees. That ain't right.

So far only one person interested ... anyone else??

So far there are three tentative Silverwings (1 Texas, 1 Arkansas, 1 Oklahoma).

Hi All,

I sure did have a great time last week taken this ride with Gary and Bill. Bill did an excellent job of planning out everything. Lots of beautiful country, roads, bridges, and panoramic vistas around every corner. My hats off to you Bill...Great job!

I wondered if we'd get a report. Glad y'all had fun.

Great trip. Bill drove up from Georgetown to Rison. Dennis drove here from Glenpool and they and my wife began a trip of 6 days, approximately 1600 miles or more.
Dennis got to soak his feet in the Texas gulf. Debbie got to see Padre Island. I got to visit Goliad. Bill got to show off a dry lake. We saw a whole school that was on stilts near Galveston. Rode a ferry. Saw dolphins (might have been great whites). Everywhere we stopped we met friendly people. What a week.
We ate BarBQ in Mendin La. where we met a nice local on a Bergman. Seafood in Rockport Texas at the Big Fishermans. More BarBQ in (Not sure where we were in Texas (help me guys)They had goat steaks too... Fantastic Pizza at Papa Murphys in Georgetown. Great steak at the Pinto Bean TexMex in Edna Texas. Good Chinese in Jasper Texas. Good meal in Goliad too. What a week.
Bill was a great guide. Weather was fantastic. Kinda windy a couple of the days, but no rain, no storms. No one had any mechanical problems(no one really expected any. Just riding throughout the southeast corner of the great state of Texas. Everywhere we went had something special. What a week. Took a few pictures that I will post in a day or two. All in all it was an experience I wont forget.

I would really like to make a Texas ride in the future particularly the Hill country and or Big Bend. I would ride with Honda_Silver anytime.
