| I have found two 2003 Reflex's to buy but need some advice. One has about 900 miles total and has been dropped, no broken plastic just scrapes and the key has been lost. It is a straight model and I can get it for 2100 bucks. It's also 200 miles away and would require me to rent a truck to haul it home. The other is a ABS model with an aftermarket trunk on the back and it has 3560 miles but all the service has been done. its only 80 miles away and is 2500 bucks. This one can be ridden home. So when all is said and done the total cost is going to be about the same other than mileage. What are your thoughts?? |

| All things are not equal...
It would seem to me that the ABS model would be the way to go. Yes, it is a bit more money, but the convenience factor and most certainly the ABS would be the deal clincher. The mileage difference doesn't even factor in (to me). |

| Thanks, I am leaning that way. You are right the ABS is a nice feature and the money difference is not all that big of a deal. Hope to get up there tomorrow and become a new Reflex owner. It will look good parked next to the Elite. |

| Interesting facts on ABS! Well I pulled the trigger on the Reflex with ABS and I pick it up Friday. Thanks for the help. I guess I really knew the answer but being excited always makes me careful when making a decision. Comes with old age I guess or a lifetime of driving airplanes. |

| I think the Reflex with ABS is a good choice. I wish my SW had ABS. I just bought a 2001 Goldwing 1800 to replace my 1993 GW mainly to get ABS (and EFI). In some ways I liked the 1500 better but those two features were worth the money and bother of buying and selling to me. |

| I am looking forward to getting her Friday and you are right the ABS is a definite plus. After the dust settles down (meaning save some more money) I will be back in the market again as my wife and I plan to do some riding together. As much as I love the Elite it's too small for us to take short trips together soooo it means another Reflex or maybe a Swing . |
