PostSubject: Hi from Knoxville   Wed Jun 09, 2010 8:06 am

Here's my intro:
Ashley, 37year old, newlywed, mother.
I bought my first scooter a month ago. It's a Yahama Riva 125 and I love it! I wanted a scooter I can take on the interstate, so I bought a '04 Siver Wing last weekend. I'm still in the "getting to know you" stage with my SWing. I actually posted earlier about how I feel about it.
But anyhoo.. in the vein of trying to introduce myself... My husband of 3 months has a Vulcan and our 12-year old son putts between us on his little Elite. Thanks to King of the Hill, he is familiar with what the "back seat" of a motorcycle is called... so we call it the Sweetie Seatie. He's happy on the Sweet Seat if we have to go over 30mph.
Let's see.. I'm a receptionist, which means sometimes I can post all day.. sometimes not at all.... We just moved from 4 miles from work to 21 miles from work and I hate the long commute. That is the only bump in my life right now, so I don't complain.
If anyone else is in the Knoxville area, I'd love to meet up with you and compare! If you're not, give me a shout anyway! I'm awfully friendly and love reading all the posts I've seen. Love the "tight knit" community here!

Hi Ashley,

I live in Greeneville about 45 minutes from you. I have an 03 Swing. I'm 34 so were close in age. My wife is 28 and she rides on the "Sweetie Seatie" all the time. We've carved just about all the roads there are to carve in and around the mountains from Cherohala all the way up to the "Crooked Road" in Southwest, VA. Maybe we can ride together sometime.

Nice to meet you! I'd love to do that! I'm very familiar with where Greeneville is, my family is from SW Va, so I traveled by all the time!

Peach,

You're allowed to choose your own name Ashley, - except at birth.
