I’m looking to order brake pads for front and rear and I’m getting different part #’s depending on which site I’m on ,the last 3 digits seem to vary,I have a 2004 non ABS Swing and do these part ‘s look correct ?

Front- 06455-MCT-026
Old sku #.            -016

Rear 06435-MCT-435
Old sku#.          -425

The old sku’s are on partzilla and the new #’s are on Honda Parts site which is a couple dollars cheaper

Hi John

Original Honda Front pad No. was 06455-MCT-006 from 04 it became 016, currently 026.
Rear pad No. was 06435-MCT-415,from 04 it became 425, currently 435.

same pads, Honda just streamlined their parts database.

If Honda OEMs are available and cheaper then It's a no brainer.... Honda all the way.

Hope this helps.

Be safe, be seen!

Yes Sir that’s what I needed to know ,it’s easier to confirm here before ordering than to pull it apart and pads not fitting… Thank you…👍👍

Hi john.

The only possible problem why the Front pads might not fit is if your 04 is an 02 that didn't get sold to 04.
Outside chance but better to say before you cuss me coz they don't fit lol.

Hope this helps.

According to Ron Ayers, P/N 06455-MCT-692 fits "NON ABS" 2004 FSC600D USA model,

https://www.ronayers.com/oemparts/a/hon/5053f290f870021c54be6b13/front-brake-caliper

USA model years 2003-2013, FSC600D AC non-ABS, FSC600A AC ABS.

I always check/compare prices at both Ron Ayers and Partzilla (USA), but you should double check availability, don't get trapped on a back order (especially Partzilla), email them, I lean towards Ron Ayers, their website and parts catalogs are slightly better/more up to date, service and response time is #1.

Thank you for catching that mistake, I entered a FSC A instead of D,I just ordered them today so I’ll give them a ring in the morning and have them correct that 👍👍

The Ron Ayer’s site is like $7 cheaper (front and rear) than the site I ordered from but now that I know about them I compare prices on the next thing I buy.

Hi JohnyC,
Things don’t work like that in the states a 2002 is titled a 2002 even if it sold in 2003 or 2012,is that how things work in the UK ? No such thing as a leftover there, what happens if the body style changes ?

Hope this clarifies.

The parts listing by Honda this side of the pond only list the original front pads(06455-MCT-692), as posted by zrx212 for 01 and 02 after that the listed part Nos. are as I listed with the updated last Nos.
Seems we got the front upgrade 2 yrs before you.

Hope this helps.

Out of boredom, being a little sick, kinda grounded in house, went down the "Squirrel/Rabbit Hole" to investigate this brake pad part number, etc., after a lot of different searches, cross-references, looking at lots of pictures, etc., etc. I concluded that the latest front P/N 06455-MCT-026 will fit all years, ABS and Non-Abs (same for all calipers), main reasons they "All" use the same "brake caliper", the different dash numbers, could mean a newer production run or subtle changes, like pad groves or material to improve performance and comply with environmental standards  scratch . Keep in mind that they are trying to sell new old stock, 1st. When that runs out, they will update the parts manuals.

Another reason I believe they are fully compatible, the EBC Brakes website shows, pad part numbers for each different caliper/position, is the same for all years.

In any case, brakes are overrated, they Just "Slow You Down" Rolling Eyes bounce

Found a set of rear brake pads on Ebay 06435-MCT-415 for SW perfect fit on 2013 Wing old stock and $25 a perfect fit. Still had 3MM on old pads but was replacing tire just installed them for peace of mind.

Not a fan of aftermarket pads seem to be a bit smaller on pad surface and cause a ridge on rotors after use. My 2$
