Just bought my 2007 Swing with only 1450 miles on it. Have ridden it about 200 miles since purchase. Looks like it will get about 53 mpg. I have a Kymco Movie 150 as well which is a hoot to ride. Having ridden since 1965 these are my first scoots. I also have a M2 Buell Cyclone that I hate to sell but my aging hips can't handle that riding position any more. The Swing still feels a little ackword to me especially at low speeds. At 55-60 mph it's very comfortable. Looking forward to riding this summer and hope to travel the Blue Ridge Parkway to Roanoke soon. If any other riders near by drop me a note. I like this forum

Greetings and welcome from o-HI-o you have found a very good site with helpful folks. Getting use to the slow speed handling and the dual brake system will come with a little practice, I went from a Gold Wing to pure Silver.

Sounds like you found a great bike! Yes, the aging hips can become quite uncomfortable on standard bikes. I don't know if they make Mick-0-Pegs for the Buell, but it's something you might look into. They will in most cases let your legs stretch out. |

Mt440, you have found the best place to hang out. I got my 2007 with low limes too. I reckon I'm getting about the same mileage. Great bike, I'm sure you'll like it as much as your Buell. I like my VT1100 once I'm moving but it's a pig to move around the driveway. Jay.

This is my first ABS bike. Found out real quick not to squeeze the left brake to hard. Thanks for the encouraging replys.
