My name is Mike
Looking forward to picking up my "new" Wing on Saturday.
Couldn't resist a Pure black 2015 model with 60 miles on it from new, it was a show bike taken around the Country for promo work, hence the mileage, purchased from Doble's a highly respected dealer in the UK.
I had a wing back in 03 and enjoyed it very much, but work etc got in the way so I had no real time to ride it, now I have more spare time, so it's back in the saddle for me.

You're lucky Mike.  It's forecast for rain here tomorrow and we're at a barbecue for my grandson's birthday.  Lucky me !  Thought you might like to see a picture of my black Silver Wing. This was taken a couple of days ago when we had a run out around the Scottish Borders.

Yes Steve, there's more than just you up here in the frozen north ! Not sure what part of Teesdale you're in. My missus and I had a run down to Barnard Castle last Tuesday just for a day out. We came back through Teesdale, up into Weardale via Stanhope and Woolsingham then back up the A68 home. Must add, that was in the car though.

"Spare time" has a habit of getting filled up with useless stuff (work, chores, etc.) Hope you can confine your spare time to more riding.

Here it is, great ride back, so nearly doubled the mileage Have ordered the Givi adjustable screen, as stock is no good for me, all standard apart from the Tomtom Vio satnav.

How do you find the Vio?? Your only the second person I've seen have one fitted.

The reviews seem good but I distrust bike journos and as a total technophobe having gone through my box of cast off Ram mounts the Ram drink holder appeals more than a sat nav (I have a coffee habit what can I say)

To be honest I haven't tried it in anger yet as Iv'e just got the bike, very easy to install & setup, lots of FREE maps to download from the app, only downloaded the UK for now, but you can download most of Europe, it's claimed 5hr battery life not tested yet, but so far I wouldn't put you off, best to find somewhere that has a demo model if not sure about it.

Mike, nice scoot, enjoy being back on two wheels again. I've had a selection of Maxi-Scoots over the years and the Silverwing is the best for me.

My excuse for tardiness was that I was in Norfolk with a dozen other maxi-riders, including a couple from here, for the weekend on the X9 Owners Club Bash.*

I'm in Salisbury, less than an hour from the seaside.

PS * Non-members/riders are always welcome; we had two from the MaxiMuppetts Group, too.

Mike, that shine on your bike is blinding ! Great find; I am sure you'll get plenty of enjoyment from riding and lots of compliments when you are stopped someplace.
