| A very good evening (or morning, afternoon) to all depending on your time zone. Late comer to the FJS600 SW having picked up a 2012 model this wednesday gone. Previous two owner machine with under 10K on the clock.and at a very favourable price (IMO) a rare thing from eBay nowadays I know & have ridden with a few of your UK members via another forum who pointed me in this direction. My search for a replacement maxi scooter has taken some time but feel the SW will fulfill the criteria. I have a number of modifications I wish to make so will toil through the search engine but if I can't find the answers please be patient if I repeat the already asked. I'm aware of a few parts I like such as the riders seat back rest that I believe only available your side of the pond so shall ask for pointers in the right direction. First change for now is a road legal aluminium number plate (tag) that the UK is so fond of |

| Hi Scootypuff. Welcome to the forum. Here's some pics of my home-made backrest. It's cheap (some marine ply, foam, black vinyl, bolts and washers) and is very comfortable. My photo album However, to carry a pillion would mean a narrower backrest pad is needed. |

| Welcome Scootypuff Snr, (how did you decide on that name), I've owned my FJS600 for all of 3 weeks and enjoy it so much my other steeds (CBF600 and Deauville 700) are sulking in the back of the garage. Enjoy the scoot, it's probably the best Maxi to own long term, Regards from a fellow muppet, Spanners - X9 site Dave Weller |

| Morning Dave,
If your a futurama fan then Fry took on the giant brains riding a Scootypuff scooter (free in cereal packets) the junior failed (my small pizza bikes) and each maxi scoot got named senior by me.
Don't delve to deeply it probably only works in my head |
