| Hello from Gig Harbor, WA. I've had 46 different motorcycle and 5 Honda Helix over the years. I'm now beginning a brand new adventure on aSilverwing 600.
I just purchased a very low mileage 05' Silverwing, I enjoy the scooter but am very surprised at how much noise the ever juggling body panels make as they scrape and slide against each other. Has any one developed an acceptable method for properly securing the multiple parts. My plan as it has developed is to cut adhesive backed Velcro strips and line all the contact points Incan find. |

| Is that you John? Nah just kidding.
Others have used adhesive foam strips between plastic pieces. And then someone recommended using very small screws to eliminate the noise and vibrations. Your problem is most likely broken plastic tabs that are very easy to break. Use the search function to look for broken tabs. There are several ways to repair the tabs. Your search results should have recommend ways to repair the tabs. Good luck. |

| Welcome from Nova Scotia. May you have many happy miles on the S'Wing
Foam weather stripping in the cracks that might rattle may work. Mine is an '05 as well. Make sure your tires are not original and are not full of fine "old rubber" cracks. Even with lots of tread left they may be worn out when thinking of shelf life.
If you find a source of touch up paint in that '05 grey titanium that matches ... let us know please.

| You might want to have a Plast-aid kit on hand for all the broken tabs and cracks which inevitably appear. https://www.plast-aid.com/collections/all
My 2¢: Red and dark maroon are pretty much standard Honda colors. Why not paint it something more imaginative? Subaru Crosstrek orange; Kermit green; Big Bird yellow...l |

| You might consider painting it bright red. After all we all know red is the fastest color. |

| I used sheets of sound deadener to line the underside of both glove boxes and the fuel door, that worked very well. |
