Thank you for posting my scooter picture.  I have a few other shots of that trip but that one speaks of the trip quite well.

I think the bear tooth pass is good too.  Bears Tooth Pass is east of Yellowstone and a worthy motorcycle ride if you are ever in the area.

I'll second that, Beartooth is a great bike ride, my brother and I rode that some years back when I still had a Goldwing 1500. He had a BMW R1150 (I think). My ride was more comfortable.

Is the picture on the 'Road to the Sun'? My brother and I rode that four years ago and never saw what it looked like. Heavy fog on the whole trip.

Just curious but could you attribute that heavy fog to the season or to the time of day you rode Logan Pass?

I'm trying to plan a 2000+ mile ride to GNP this August and, due to time constraints, will have a one-time shot at the Going to the Sun road. I really don't want to schedule myself for a foggy disappointment, and then ride another 2K back

I don't remember the date but I think if was in late spring. We ran into snow at Lassen park and had to give it a pass until the following year to ride through it.
