Still giving this some thought but it is SO far from me... 1300 miles one way. And the temperatures will be high most of the way!

I have ridden by there a couple of times in recent years------trailer biker heaven. I ride to events and the last thing I want to do when I get there is go for ride with trailer bikers in a group.

In the early 90's, with Scoot Tour organized, mostly Helix, it was great, I saw some of the few trailer bikers fall all over themselves in the gravel parking lot. Most scooters were ridden in from all over

Not in my lifetime.

Between 1994 and 2006 I rode my Helix or Silverwing to the old Scootercade 8 times from SoCal. My riding buddy from Fresno and I alternated taking home the long-distance award a few times.

Funny, I feel the same about riding with small minded, myopically opinionated people who believe that anyone who trailers their ride, regardless of reason, is somehow an inferior rider or undesirable pack mate.

Constantly strumming this old song gets tiresome on the ears and nerves.

Who rides with/or in a group? Not me=too dangerous.

Yeah, after a day one of them would probably shoot you.

We don't carry guns, it never gets unbearably hot and there's no humidity, we ride on the proper side of the rode, and any  bikes on trailers are usually motocross or trials bikes.

Our gravy is the proper brown colour not an insipid white. Hardly anyone bangs on about 'the riding season' as soon as it gets colder. We don't have restrooms because we don't rest in them, we just go in the Gents to ’splash our boots'.

We make proper tea, not wave a teabag at a cup of hot water. Trumpton is a kids TV programme over here and not part of Donald's business empire, and the only older people wearing a baseball cap back to front are usually snipers.
