Introduction from Madmart49

Hallo to all, I have just read some posts from other members and it appears I didn,t
introduce myself and am getting earhole bashed for it.
Firstly, I apologise but if I was to make an excuse for myself it would be based on the fact that I am still learning my way round the website.
So I,m a 62 year old with still a bit of go in me.
Always had Bikes since I was 16.
Riding a 250 BSA on my 16th birthday ( Christmas Day ) in the snow was a memory I wont forget.Only fell off half dozen times or so, lol.
BSA road rocket at 16( after I had passed bike test ) it was bigger than me.If I ever let it fall over I had to stand there until someone came along and helped me pick it up.
Big Triumphs through the 70,s. Dragon Rallye in Wales 71,72.
Few years out of the saddle and then a CB650.
Few years out of the saddle and then an XJ600, which I had for about 12 years and then some nice person pinched it.
So with a dodgy knee and one foot in the grave I decided I,d get an SWing.
Got one out of Hull from Miles Kingsport ( nice people) on a 59 plate as a trade in for 1500 quid. Bargain.Still taking it to bits , and putting it back together. love you all. Mart

Welcome to the Best SWing site on the net Madmart49! There's lots of friendly people ready and willing to help.

I have an 08 SWing which I really like to ride. I call it my Old People Bike. But then I AM an Old People... Smile

Thank you to my fellow Wingers . I,ll update as I finish putting this together . I must agree with some members who have stated that these things are really not meant to be worked on. But I love a challenge , lol. Best Regards , Mart.

I know what you mean/feel. I too like to mess with my 2013 Swing. Just finished installing LED flashers, and DIY bar extenders. I hope to post what I did to install my LED flashers soon.

Ok, I will try to post it in a new tread. I will title it "LED Flasher Installation". Give me a day to learn how to add pic in stream.
