| Hello.
Although no SW yet, I'm still on the search. However, I'm close.
How does one confirm the SW of interest is an ABS model? Is there, as on the Honda NT700, a designation, emblem or otherwise somewhere on any body panel? Or would one have to look directly at some MFG sticker somewhere on the bike? Thanks.
BTW-If anyone has any input regarding the NT700, I'd greatly appreciate knowing your sentiments. Thanks...again.

| Hiya The easiest way to check for ABS would be to look at the wheels and if it has ABS there will be a perforated metal disc, about 6" in diameter with a small round sensor about 1/2 to 3/4 " covering the perforations at some point, located on both the front and rear wheels. There will be a wire leaving the sensor. The dash should also have an ABS light that will be on when the ignition is switched on. It will go out when the bike moves forward and the front wheel rotates at about 5 mph. The front mudguard has a decal that says ABS but it might be a replacement guard so don't take the decal for granted. ( trying not to be a pessimist) Mr Blobby |

| First you should do an introduction and tell us about yourself. This is a great site with a lot of active users with a lot of knowledge and are willing to share with you.
The ABS indication for the model number of a Silverwing600 is FSC600A for North American Bike's. The non ABS would not have the letter "A" at end of the model number. There is a label located under the right front fender, left side when looking from the front of the bike. The sensor ring on he front wheel is an indication that the bike has an ABS system. |

| Perfect! Thanks. I've already used this information to confirm the SW I'm looking at is an ABS model. |
