New Silverwing Owner in Northern California

Howdy all, Im Matt 30 years old and I recently purchased a 2002 Silverwing that has been in storage since 2011 and I am in the process of getting it running. Cant wait to ride it when she's running!!

I have had several motorcycles and scooters, started riding dirtbikes and still do, Have had a couple china made 150cc scooters, and also I had an Aprilia Atlantic 500 scooter, which is similar to the Swing. For some reason the scooter segment has really captured my attention and have had to have one ever since!

I know what you mean about scooters capturing attention. I got my first one a few years ago and found that I didn't really want to ride anything else from that time. Dunno why!

Welcome to the Forum! Scooters are just fun. I've owned a lot of motorcycles over the years but I've finally come full circle. I started on a Cushman scooter and it looks like I might finish on my GT. If I had more space I'd buy my third SW to keep the BMW company because I know the SW will always be ready to roll. The GT hasn't proven its reliability yet. I think your choice of the Silver wing will be rewarding. It's a Honda after all and about the most bullet proof scooter going.
