Hi all new to this forum have brought a 2004 silverwing as my winter work bike as my 400 burgman is getting on a bit now.my other rides are a immaculate 20year old vfr 750 and a 33 year old z650 .finding the forum very interesting and informative.

WelcomeGrumpy13, I have a 16year old Burgman400 as well as my 2014 Silver wing( my second Silver wing). I use my Burgman more in the winter and for journeys of fifty miles or less. Hope you enjoy your Silver wing and have many trouble free rides.

Welcome to the best SWing forum on the net Grumpy. I have an 08 SWing that I like a lot and ride whenever weather permits. I'm getting close to 70 years old and am now pretty much a fair weather rider. The rain and cold don't appeal to me all that much anymore. If I get caught in the rain that's one thing but I won't volunteer to go out in it on purpose.

I'm sort of new to the s wing and scooters in general, but my 2012 is a nice do it all bike
I was looking at a VFR700, but when I thought about that 32 year old electric fuel pump (on a carbureted bike) and what a mess getting the carbs out for cleaning was, plus the trans that poped out of 1st, I decided that bike wasn't a good idea

Lol I have been called grumpy since an apprentice .taking a while getting used to the the wing it's a lot heavier than my 400 burgman and vfr 750
