I generally go by the generic 'geezer' designation. Whenever I got to a fast food joint I get a geezer drink. It takes some of those kids a moment or two figure out what a geezer is.

Geezolith 80+ LOL, hovering way to close to that to look back. Today's maintenance session with the S'Wing may advance that even faster.

Maybe you should check out the definition of geezer in that veritable fountain of knowledge www.urbandictionary.com before you say on here you are or aren't a geezer.

The type of person it refers to has different meanings in the UK to the US version and some of them aren't particularly flattering.

While you're on there have fun educating yourself to the meanings of other words you may have wondered about.  Shocked

I'm safe Smile as overseas isn't in the future for now so the differences won't be a problem, heck don't need to leave o-HI-o to find meaningful differences in what meanings are, i.e. Mango, being from the norther part originally that was a fruit, go the 200 miles south and it referred to a Green Bell Pepper, going to the Creek to catch a fish, crick down here to get a feesh. Language is fun, and cornfusin, staking one to a steak to drive a stake Laughing

Looks like most of the words at that site are pretty ghetto. As far as the definition of 'geezer' goes, "In the U.S.: An old man, particularly one who is either cranky or eccentric." I think it fits me pretty well.

Some times I order a Mexican drink at McDonald's or Burger King. You know a senor drink. They've gotten used to me so I'll have to figure out another way to flummox them.

There's some overlap of codger and geezer, I seem to be well into geezerhood but just starting into my codgerism or is it codgerdom? I am solidly in my curmudgeonism and intend to use all prerequisites entitled by that rank.
