Time to ride!

Today I was to meet the GWRRA for s ride. A gorgeous day, even a little warn at desert elevations. No one showed, me and a trike . Oh well, I was on the SE side of town and on I10 headed out so a good start to visit my daughter in Sierra Vista. This is a 100 miler about so I'm off. Back roads all the way down, the desert is lush from recent rains and a wonderful ride. Back was state hiway and I10 and not near as much fun. Truck traffic was moderate and frankly a drag. Still I was out and about and had a great ride. It aint the old day though. A Silverwing just isn't the mile eater the Goldwing was! Maybe this spring Ill ride to Ruidoso and see how my rear end holds up on a 450 miler.

I agree, scooters are great and a lot of fun but for doing lots of miles in a day it's hard to beat a Goldwing.

Amen especially at my age and condition Color is coming on fast here so there will be some nice rides on our two laners and forest service roads
