| Just wondering if anyone has converting to HID headlights? I did a search for HID but no results!
If so, what are your thoughts?
Thanks, CnR |

| Yes, I converted the low beam to HID. Blindingly bright. I had it for a couple of years and it worked superbly during a ride around the Great Lakes in the inky darkness of the Canadian night. Biliningly bright to on-coming traffic as well as the vehicles you follow. The periferial light pattern is also kind of tough when you pass other vehicles. Best HID bet is to figure out how to adapt a Projector HID to the SW headlight housing.
My HID failed when I repeatedly flashed on coming traffic to warn them of an, around the bend, hidden, accident I had just passed. The manufacturer replaced the bulb & ballast but I never reinstalled the kit. I'll be glad to sell the kit. PM me if interested.
Tim
[Edit] Err...Um...Pay no attention to that dspevack guy. My HID is Xenon too, but brighter and projects further. Size matters.

| My xenon HID lights are are also available in the for sale section. Never had a problem with them. Took them out to resell when I sold my scooter. |
