Hello from Yorkshire UK!

Hi...Steve from Yorkshire in the UK. Am 55yrs and I have been riding for 5 years, only taking it up after a bad accident which left me with drop foot in my left leg. Although a lifelong biker fan, I only had the opportunity to start riding after this accident, so I took an auto licence test, and bought my first scooter which was a Piaggio X8 125. A year later I moved to a Sym Maxsym 400 which I did a good number of miles on for the 3 years I had it.

Just recently lucky enough to buy a new silverwing at a stupidly good price and deal for my old bike.

I have added leg guards and a top box, and Santa brought me some heated grips so they will be going on soon!.

My first impressions of the bike are great!.. So smooth, quick and comfortable and looking forward to doing some serious touring on it this coming year.

Hopefully some ride outs may be organised on here?

Hello mate, reading Intro your post about a I'd hazard a guess you're in West Yorkshire and I've met you and admired your Maxsym 400 at a charity run up from Squires up to Catterick a couple of years ago with some others from the Muppets. We went on to the Manor Café later.

I noticed there's a grey Maxsym 400 for sale at the Honda dealers in Castleford.
