Well, I made the jump: traded my faithful 1996 BMW R1100RT bought new in 1997 and bought a 2006 S'Wing (ABS) as you call them.
I'm very impressed by the ride: my major problem with my bimmer was that I'm short (28" inseam) and I was always on my toes.  As I grew older (I'm now 68), it became heavier and, since I do not take any more long trips, I needed a lighter, more agile ride for errands, short trips and that it may take me for a long ride once in a while. Laughing
