I just recently bought a well used 2005 Silverwing, and I love it, apart from the front panel vibrations at take-off.

Welcome to the best Silverwing site on the web. The vibrations at take-off can be fixed by deglazing the clutch pads. They will come back if you slowly take off from a stop. When you take off from a stop you should open the throttle like you plan to take off fast. After you start off and the clutch grabs tight, then let up on the throttle and adjust to the speed you want to ride.

Hey Donie, I have a 2005 Canadian version. Love it, but for the vibrations it would be a perfect bike. I find that easing off ever so slightly on the throttle once I get moving will tone down the rattles. Try it, might work for you too.
