if so what kind of knock sensor would be best? what gauge wire is used for the relay to fuel pump?

The ignition timing and fuel injection map of the stock Swing engine doesn't require a knock sensor to produce about 50 horsepower.

If your rules require a restrictor plate in the intake, your engine is going to produce less than 50 horsepower and you are probably not going to need a knock sensor.

Most of the wire gauge is 20 gauge. But if you are really concerned you could always use 18 ga. HTH
