Recently purchased a Silverwing, must say extremely impressed... comfortable to drive, power when you need it and looks impressive too.

I have discovered 1 issue though, when I get up to 75-80mph there is a vibration that occurs, it starts from the front and goes through the rear of the machine, it is not a constant vibration it is more of a recurring vibration. Has anyone got any ideas???

Could it be wheel wobble as it does decrease to a certain extent when you go above 85mph.

The S/W is a great machine, but it does have limitations, quite a few riders have complained of slow speed front wheel wobble which stops after gaining speed, something I also have experienced, I took it up to 100 mph once and she started to wobble really bad, I thought I was going down before I got her under control, I no longer go faster than 85, I think the small wheels are probably the cause. Ride Safe.

If there is nothing to indicate previous crash damage, wheel wobbles are generally caused by wrong tyre pressures, worn or damaged tyres and/or worn steering head bearings. If everything is as it should be the Silver wing should not have any wobbles, my 2002 version does not, at any speed.
